Hand building course

What will you learn?


If you are a beginner, we will start by covering the three fundamental hand building techniques:   

•    Pinching   

•    Coiling   

•    Slab building

Once you’ve mastered the basics, you’ll have the freedom to create your own unique ceramic pieces with my guidance and support.

When?


Wednesdays

     from 10:00 to 12:30

     from 18:30 to 21:00

​

Fridays

     from 10:00 to 12:30

​

Sundays

     from 10:00 to 12:30   

     from 14:00 to 16:30.

 

Pricing

• Each session per 2.5 hour costs €25 (including tax). 

• Minimum participation is 2 sessions per month. If you take more than 3 sessions per month, 10 % discount from the total sessions fee will be applied.

•  Material & firing costs will be calculated and charged after your works are completed and ready to take home. The basic calculation is based on the size of the finished work using the following formula: Length(cm) x Width(cm) x Height(cm) x 0.01(Euro)​. Example: a standard tea cup of dimensions of 7cm(L) X 7cm(W) x 8cm(H) →  7 x 7 x 8 x 0.01=3.90 (Euro). *Note: The price may vary slightly depending on kiln loading conditions, the number and type of glazes and pigments, and whether re-firing is necessary.
