HAZARA -Leaf bowl-

In this workshop, you will create a beautiful ceramic bowl using real leaves. There will be a wide collection of leaves provided, but you are welcome to bring your own leaves too. Enjoy making one large or two smaller bowls with  clay and design the surface by assembling leaves and patterns. After the workshop your handmade work will be dried, fired, glazed and fired again to be ready for you to pick up (or delivered with additional costs) after 4 -6 weeks. The plate you make will be functional and safe to use for food.

No experience with ceramics is needed. Space is limited to 4 participants, tea and snacks will be provided.

80 Euro p.p. including all materials and firing costs

What to bring:  

An apron and a hand towel

Note:                 

  • If you bring your own leaves, please choose leaves that are naturally flat. It is a good idea to press leaves beforehand (for example between pages of a heavy book) so that they can be laid flat on the plate.                                                    

  • Arrive 5 minutes before the workshop starts

  • Minimum age is 12 (an adult must be present to supervise children under 16).
